TopCat VA was founded by Karen Pivnick, a dedicated and highly skilled administrator with more than 20 years experience of managing, planning and supporting administrative functions.  She is a polished professional with a natural ability to take charge.

Her career has spanned many different industries, including manufacturing, wholesale distribution and financial services, where she has achieved on-time and on-budget results as an Office Manager and Executive Assistant.

Karen is a highly motivated individual with the ability to quickly grasp issues and attend to priority details while maintaining a view of the big picture.  Enjoyment of her business is reflected in the quality of work and the collaborative partnerships that she has established with her clients.

Eleven years as Executive Assistant to a senior executive of a leading Canadian financial institution.

Two years as Executive Assistant to Managing Director of a investment banking company

Seven years experience as an Office Manager to a manufacturer and distributor of swimming pool products

Karen is a graduate of the Virtual Assistant Training Program and has up-to-date training in the Microsoft Office Suite.  She has also studied Interior Design and Fundraising Management and is a member of The Canadian Virtual Assistant Network and Association of International Administrative Professionals.
